Am I wrong?
there has been a lot of tension on our floor so My twin this other girl and I decided to call an “unofficial” floor meeting. At the meeting this guy said that there was a lot of fake people on this floor and everyone has been talking about everyone. Then all of a sudden he goes “for example, I heard that the twins think this girl shalon is irritating”. Now Tumblr eventhough he put bryanna an I out there, I had no problem with it! If i said something I WILL OWN UP TO IT! I’m not scared! so bryanna and shalon go back in forth or whatever in discussing how she’s irritating, nothing heated, just little remarks. Then Shalon decides to go around the room and pointing to people asking id she was irritating, AND TO MY SURPRISE EVERYONE SHE POINTED TO SAID NO! now tumblr…just before the meeting certain type of people were in OUR ROOM telling US how she was irritating her and they’ve been avoiding her, but when it was brought to the table No one had nothing to say, basically throwing bryanna and I under the bus.. bryanna and I’s reaction “true”
I just wanna say this, I didn’t grow up around people nor have friends like this back home! if we said something then shoot we said it! and if you find out from someone that we said it and confront us WE WOULDNT LIE AND SAY WE DIDN’T! tf?! this situation just helped me realize not necessarily whose real and fake but..yea never mind it did. That whole situation just showed me true sides. Bryanna and I walk around here all nice and innocent, I mean we are really nice and some what innocent, and I think people took/take that as a weakness! we are sweet people but PUSH US TO THE EDGE and we will KIRK! i mean literally turn into little monsters! in this situation tho we didn’t, simply observed. This just showed us what type of people we were surrounded by.OH and one other thing, I dont recall telling the guy who mentioned this that we thought the girl was irritating, so that had of meant someone else who thinks the same told him right? exactly…
Now its been two days since this meeting happened and the girl hasn’t said anything to bryanna and I about the situation. She’s just been in her room. I saw her this morning walking into the bathroom while i was coming out and she act like she didn’t see me. I mean okeii thats cool, clearly she has a problem about what happened, I mean maybe she just needs time until she wants to talk about it but walking around here looking like a lost puppy and not coming out your room is just plain pathetic! her feelings might be hurt but YOU NEVER LET PEOPLE SEE YOU LIKE THAT! the look of defeat on your face in my eyes is a sign of weakness! we are in college and if you cant take stuff like this then your sol in the real real world!
As for me, I really couldn’t give two craps about how she feels and honestly I think she needs to suck it up and move on! ive been told plenty of things about myself and you know what I do! take it into consideration! obviously if one person thinks that then most cases more ppl think the same. Not to say that I care what people think of me, because I REALLY REALLY don’t but lets say, I think that trait is annoying about someone else and someone saids i do the same thing..I will do everything in my power to stop it! b/c thats a trait I do not want to carry! I would simply THANK THE PERSON (not saying that the girl needs to that me) And move on with my life. OH and speak to that person the next time I saw them BECAUSE THEY KEPT IT REAL AND TOLD ME HOW THEY FEEL!
In this situation tho, I didn’t tell the girl how i felt, But I started to distance my self away from her. I mean we did hang out every second of the day together so becoming annoyed is nothing unusual. I would be around her as much, matter fact the only time I saw her is if I ran into her, went in her room to talk to her roommate who i adore, or she came into my room. I mean eventually she would have gotten the point, and maybe asked what was wrong with me, at that time I would have told her, probably not in the nicest, sugar coating way but I would have told her. Its not like I was being “fake” and still hung with her while she irritated the crap outta me! this is was my method of handling things and I think its great!
Now, when she does decide to talk, I doubt it will be pretty,and she will really see the serious me. When faced with situations like these,I am very blunt, show no emotions(because I have none) and I say EVERYTHING thats on my mind. I highly doubt she will expect this out of me because like i said in the beginning, I walk around here happy and smiling 24/7. She may say somethings and I know for a fact I will say somethings and then it will be over. If a person cannot speak to you the next time they see you after an ordeal like this, then (in my eyes) they are WEAK! I mean we dont have to be all buddy buddy but OBVIOUSLY you still feel some type of way about the situation! unless there is an agreement that there will be no communication, which i think is stupid if it occurs in this situation, but for others I understand.
In conclusion, I just want to know if I wrong for thinking and feeling the way I do? I mean this is college and not everyone is going to like you! but walking around with defeat on your face is not the way to go about things! it is a sign of weakness! shoot Im still living my life smiling and having a good time so why cant you? and is it mean that I don’t care how she feels? I mean I got what I had to say off my chest! I feel great! sorry if you feel the same way! come talk to me about your feelings or whatever or BUILD A HUGE BRIDGE and get over it!
like i said before, Im not use to people like this! I mean yea there is fakeness, but rarely do I see “scary” people and people who walking around like their world is crush! LIFE IS TO SHORT!
